There’s something really special about getting off the shop floor and heading behind the scenes to see where the magic actually happens—and that’s exactly what we did on our recent trip to Fine Decor.
After a busy few days, the team are back home in Belfast (slightly tired, very inspired!) and we couldn’t wait to share a little glimpse of what’s coming next…
Behind the Scenes at Fine Decor
We spent a few days with one of our top suppliers, Fine Decor, getting a proper look at how their wallpapers are designed, developed, and produced.
Walking through the factory, you really get an appreciation for the scale of it all—huge machines rolling out metres and metres of wallpaper, intricate processes, and serious attention to detail at every stage. It’s not just about printing patterns… it’s craftsmanship.
And of course, we were kitted out in our high-vis (very stylish, we know 😄) while getting a full tour of the production line.
From Concept to Wall
One of the best parts of the trip was seeing how a design evolves—from an initial idea right through to a finished roll ready for your walls.
We got hands-on with:
- New textures and finishes
- Embossed and 3D-style patterns
- Colour palettes for the upcoming seasons
- Sample boards and room set inspiration
It’s always fascinating to see how much thought goes into even the simplest-looking designs. The depth, the layering, the subtle textures… it all makes a massive difference once it’s on the wall.

We’ve had an exclusive first look at brand new designs that will be landing in-store soon as part of our Spring/Summer Collection—and honestly, they’re stunning.
